LITECH LLC has recently partnered on an exclusive contract team as a sub-contractor on the GSA Schedule Contract, VETS 2/GWAC (Governmentwide Acquisition Contract).  The VETS 2 GWAC, a Best-in-Class contract vehicle, was awarded on October 26, 2017.  Federal agencies may now issue task orders on the VETS 2 GWAC.

The Veterans Technology Services (VETS) 2 Governmentwide Acquisition Contract is a Multiple Award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract providing customized Information Technology services and IT service-based solutions both commercially and non-commercially.  It is unique in that it is the only GWAC set-aside exclusively for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) like LITECH.

VETS2 GWAC Features:

• Best-in-Class designation:  The VETS 2 GWAC has been designated as a Best-in-Class contract vehicle;
• Comprehensive Scope:  The contract scope is designed to meet a variety of diverse agency IT requirements, including new and emerging technologies;
• Multiple Contract Types:  VETS 2 allows Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, Time and Materials, and Labor Hour orders;
• Enables Long-Term Planning:  VETS 2 has a five-year base period and one five-year option period;
• Robust Contractor Pool:  Provides access to customized IT solutions from a qualified pool of SDVOSBs; and
• Socioeconomic Impact:  Enables GSA to continue its support of the SDVOSB Procurement Program, while helping federal agencies achieve their socioeconomic goals and objectives.

Best-in-Class (BIC) means that something has been designated by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) as a preferred governmentwide solution that:

• Allows acquisition experts to take advantage of pre-vetted, governmentwide contract solutions;
• Supports a governmentwide migration to solutions that are mature and market-proven;
• Assists in the optimization of spend, within the governmentwide category management framework; and
• Increases the transactional data available for agency level and governmentwide analysis of buying behavior.
